I met a man in a national forest some weeks ago. I picked him up and his dog as they walked along the highway. He heard me playing a scriptural teaching and felt immediately like the Lord coordinated this. We ended up connecting easily. He had a similar history as me. He’s had a landscaping business and has similar interests/hobbies. He was stranded in the national forest because someone picked up his moto scooter into their truck and stole it. He had been there a month with his camping equipment but needed a way back to his hometown.
I ended up meeting up with him again, having lunch with him, helping him get a shower and his clothes washed. He gave me a bunch of camping items, he was getting a ride finally to his hometown the next day and didn’t have room for everything. (He had originally transported everything with a friend’s vehicle)
Since then we’ve spoke on the phone many times, and I plan to meet him this Wednesday for lunch as I pass through his town on the way to Baltimore. He used to be extremely involved in ‘church’, he was the video/audio guy for a megachurch for years in North Carolina. He had a strong relationship with one of the pastors. However, he has unfortunately turned against Jesus, while still claiming to believe in God the Father. I haven’t got to the root of why he has such an issue with Jesus but not God the Father. He’s very technical, knowledgable, and is very familiar with Scripture- although not as much as he thinks. I believe his calling may be apostolic. He has had multiple near death encounters.
Please pray the true love of God the Father, which is embodied in Jesus Christ, come upon Zachary. Pray the veil from his eyes be removed and his true purpose and calling in God be made known to him. Pray the perfect will of God Almighty be done in his life and nothing gets in His way. Pray I am a good steward of the grace, love, wisdom, and power of God as I have lunch with Zachary this Wednesday.
